I find myself needing help with everything I do, from keeping my house in order to understanding my taxes, but there are few things that I seem capable of without some kind of guidance. When I travel, I find myself looking to other outside sources for ideas, and New York City was absolutely no different. Since we travel around as such a pack of dilettantes, we have begun to make contacts all over the world, and some of my best memories revolve around meeting some people at a very crucial time when the impression could be remembered so fondly. I get tired sometimes for not pulling my weight, though, as I think of myself as sort of inept when it comes to managing my money as well as my friends have, and I seem to spend more money than necessary when we all go anywhere important together. There have been more than a few times that involved drinking too much, or shopping sprees to no end for souvenirs, a truly embarrassing experience when you might find the two intertwined.
